De-shedding — groomers by town
A de-shedding treatment is a bath, a high-velocity dry and a thorough rake through the dead undercoat of a double-coated dog such as a husky, a labrador or a German shepherd. Done properly it clears a good amount of loose coat and cuts the hair round the house for a few weeks. It is not a clip: a double coat is not normally shaved, because it protects the dog in both heat and cold. The towns below are the ones where a groomer says they offer de-shedding.
