What cage-free and one-to-one actually change

In a typical multi-dog salon, several dogs are bathed and then crated to dry or wait their turn, which can raise stress for a dog that finds confinement or other dogs' barking difficult. A cage-free, one-to-one setup means your dog is worked on start to finish, dried by hand or in the open rather than left in a crate, with no other dog sharing the space at the same time. That generally makes for a longer appointment in terms of the groomer's own time, though none of the five businesses above publishes a price premium for it over a standard groom.

Which dogs benefit most
