How to choose a dog groomer in Reading

Same name, different business
Two unrelated salons both trade as Perfect Paws: one in Emmer Green, Caversham, and one run by Rebecca on Heathlands Road, Wokingham, trading since 2012 and no longer taking extra-large breeds. They have different phone numbers and owners and are listed here as two separate businesses. Absolutely Furbulous in Tilehurst is a different business again from a similarly-named Furbulous Dog Grooming in Bracknell (not listed in this edition), and Hair Of The Dog Woodley Ltd, trading in Woodley for around 20 years, has a same-named but separately-listed site at Briarfield Kennels in Twyford with no phone number, treated as a possible second site rather than a distinct business. Hot Dogs in Bracknell trades under one name from two addresses -- a home address on Oldstead and a concession at Moss End Garden Centre, Warfield -- and is listed once. Shampooch, based in Purley on Thames, similarly has one alternate address, Gr Acres on Tidmarsh Lane, recorded as a second number for the same business rather than a separate one. Coats & Tails and Dairy Lane Dog Grooming are both genuinely separate, if easily confused, groomers based in the small village of Hambleden near Henley.

Pam at Dogs Galore of Henley holds an OCN Level 3 qualification and canine first aid training. Ask for the qualification by name if it matters to you -- most of the thirty-eight businesses here don't state one either way.
