About
The Barkside MCR combines a day-care and grooming shop with an on-site groomer, rather than running a grooming-only salon. Founded in 2011, it operates two Manchester city-centre sites, on Travis Street and at Kampus, plus a third salon that opened in Heaton Moor, Stockport, on 15 September 2026. Services include professional dog grooming, dog day care and a dog retail shop. The Travis Street site opens Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, with Saturdays every other week; the Kampus site opens Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm, closed Monday and Sunday.
