Bark and Sparkle is a dog grooming boutique at 34A Thorn Road in Hedon, founded in 2015 by Kate Foster after she completed a City & Guilds dog grooming course, having started the idea as what she calls 'a bit of a hobby'. The salon won 'Most Outstanding Dog Grooming Boutique 2021 - Yorkshire' from SME News and reached the final of the Animal Star Awards' Pet Groomer of the Year. Its team is trained in Pet Emergency First Aid alongside City & Guilds vocational qualifications. Services include dog grooming, spa treatments and boutique retail.
