How much does dog grooming cost in Greenwich and south-east London in 2026?

A groomer pointing out a price list on the counter to a waiting customer

Published pricing is the exception across this directory's 29 groomers covering Greenwich and south-east London. Only three businesses publish a genuine full-groom price list: OFF-CUT Barkers (Peckham), Waggy Wagon (East Dulwich) and Snuffle Dog Cafe & Wine Bar (Sydenham). A fourth, The Uptown Dog in Greenwich, publishes prices for one specific add-on only, not a groom. This guide sets out exactly what each one charges rather than guessing at the rest.

What the three price lists show

A basic wash-and-tidy service starts at £35 to £40: Waggy Wagon's bath and tidy at £35, and Snuffle's bath and brush at £40, with OFF-CUT Barkers' equivalent, a luxury bath and brush, at £38. A full groom for a small dog starts at £50 to £65 depending on where you go: Waggy Wagon from £50, Snuffle from £55 rising to £65 for a medium dog and £60 for a poodle or doodle coat, and OFF-CUT Barkers' luxury full groom at a flat £65. All three treat teeth cleaning and nail work as separate add-ons rather than part of the groom, priced from £10 to £45 depending on the treatment and whether it's a first visit or a repeat.

The one add-on price list

The Uptown Dog in Greenwich publishes prices for Emmi-Pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning only: £80 for a first visit, £35 for a maintenance clean. Its full-groom pricing is set individually by breed and coat rather than published as a flat rate, so it isn't in the comparison above; ask for a quote for your dog when you call.

Why so few prices online

Most of the 29 businesses in this directory rely on a directory listing, a Facebook or Instagram page, or no online presence beyond a phone number, which is the likely reason for the near-silence on price. Several with a working website of their own, including The Greenwich Hound, Hound & Co (Dulwich) and Walter Hart London, still ask you to call or book rather than publishing figures. The Dandy Hound in Peckham states on its own site that it is currently at capacity and not taking new grooming customers, so it's worth checking that before you plan a visit. Ask for a price, or at least an estimate based on your dog's size and coat, before booking anywhere else in this directory.

What this suggests

Three price lists from three different areas aren't a full market rate for south-east London, but they're close enough to be a useful starting point for a phone call: expect roughly £35 to £40 for a basic bath and tidy, and £50 to £65 upwards for a full groom on a small dog, with larger dogs, poodle-type coats and specialist treatments like hand stripping or teeth cleaning adding to that. Ask exactly what's included in the base groom price before you book, since ear cleaning, de-matting and nail trims are sometimes bundled in and sometimes charged separately.
