Scissors & Sitters is a small, family-run business in the village of Lanchester offering both dog grooming and dog boarding side by side. It's licensed by Durham County Council, and the groomer is qualified to City & Guilds Level 3. It's currently the only dog groomer this site has found serving the Durham villages and Brandon area, so if you're further out in Coxhoe, Bowburn, Sherburn, Cassop or Brandon itself, expect a longer drive than in better-covered towns. No price list or set opening hours are published, so call ahead to check availability and cost.
