Janimals Dog Grooming Centre has been trading from Heritage House on Mary Street in Wyke since 1981, celebrating a silver jubilee in 2005, making it one of the longest-running groomers found in the area. The team specialises in Lhasa Apsos, Shih Tzus and Border Terriers, and says it doesn't use sedatives or harmful restraint. Services include grooming and trimming, hand stripping, which adds 50% to the base price, bathing only, nails only, and a free nails, ears and health check. Published prices start at £26 for a small to giant terrier, rising to £30 for spaniels and £34 for Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso and Bichon Frise. Open Tuesday to Saturday.
